Our standard arasaid (or aboyne) skirts and shawls are made from either 100% cotton or a polyester cotton blend. This yields a significantly cooler outfit that is easier to wear, as well as significantly lower in price than wool.
All skirts with a 24" or larger waist are made with a full two yards of fabric, which guarantees that the skirt will drape attractively as it is held out. Skirts under this size are made with 1 1/2 yards, which provides plenty fullness for smaller dancers.
Our national vests are made from cotton velveteen and are fully lined with hook and eye closure. All vests are made to order, and can be customized to your specifications.
White dresses can be used for national dances as well as jig outfits and are made from %100 cotton broadcloth. They feature elastic armbands, a generous hem, and an oversize zipper to facilitate fast changes.
Petticoats can be worn under jig dresses that have attached sleeves and thus don't require a full white dress. They are made from the same 100% cotton broadcloth as the white dresses, and have an elastic waistband.
